What Men's Clothes Do Women Hate?

When women see a man for the first time, it is almost certain that they will look at their clothes first. While men surprisingly look at a woman's eyes first (not what you might have expected I'm guessing but it's true), women will check out: shoes, outfit and probably hair cut immediately.

In this moment of inspection there are a few garments of clothing which are, in most cases, a complete turn off for women. Here is a list of some of the worst items you can have in your wardrobe.

Leather Hats

For the practical mind of a man, having a leather hat is a good idea. It will last for ages, will stop them from getting rain in their eyes, makes them look refined and a bit different and is probably black. For women they are just a bit creepy and make guys look like they don't wash their hair. Avoid at all costs.

Lycra

Of course if you are a cyclist or keen runner, Lycra can be accepted by women as an appropriate garment, but in any other situation, unless you are built like an Adonis, Lycra looks wrong. It either says that you want to show off your package, or it shows that you can't find trousers that fit.

Sarongs

No matter what a certain England football may have worn, women will never accept anyone but him wearing one. This is a sad failure for equal style right between men and women but you will need to find a pretty open minded woman if you want to find someone that will walk down the beach with you wearing matching sarongs.

Offensive T-shirts

Unless you are an 18 year old student on a pub crawl, wearing an offensive t-shirt will never attract women. A slogan like 'Federal Breast Inspector' will not endear you to any females you can be assured no matter how funny you think it is. There are so many men's funny t shirts out there online and in the shops that if you want to wear charming and funny t shirts that will turn a girls head, there are plenty to choose from that aren't offensive.

Sandals

Comfy as they may be, sandals (and especially sandals with socks) is one of the worst turn offs for women. Unless you are 70 years old or just don't care, avoid this style item as best you can. If you manage to avoid these and all the other fashion 'no-no's' on this list you will make a much better first impression when a young lady checks you out.
